I'm sitting here at my farm, doing my work and keeping focus on day to day things I can do something about. What about you all?
I have a meeting today with the Prairie Republic. They are not a PMA or Financial group but they may be great to link up with. Their premise is individual sovereignty and energy. So they are looking at people being able to supply their own independent energy and no longer have dependence on the grid or gov't. They are not selling anything. I like the idea of people generating and having what they need without interference. They are international. I am still checking... Read More
How are you feeling about the marketplace? I'm not seeing the incentive.
Back in February I had a duck nest under my tool box in the bed of my farm truck and because we are ridiculous we stopped using the truck until she hatched out, only one duck, which she abandoned and we finished hand raising. This ducking is doing well and is now out with the flock. We made sure to really clean out the truck bed and block access to under the tool box.
Well for the last couple weeks we piled extra trash from our farm stand construction into that truck ... Read More

This is my one day off so we put a load in the freeze dryer, which included peaches, cilantro, lettuce, garlic scapes, onion, and thyme from the garden. Anyone else out there freeze drying?
We had cucumbers ripe from the garden so we made quick refrigerator pickles to enjoy too. Right now I have a BBQ chicken roasting in the oven from the wholesale meat run we made yesterday. I don't have time to cook on some of my workdays so weirdly this is a real treat for me to get to do.

A man loses his identity while living under a repressive regime. In a story based on George Orwell's classic novel, Winston Smith (John Hurt) is a government employee whose job involves the rewriting of history in a manner that casts his fictional country's leaders in a charitable light. His trysts with Julia (Suzanna Hamilton) provide his only measure of enjoyment, but lawmakers frown on the relationship -- and in this closely monitored society, there is no escape from Big Brother.

Richard Pryor takes the stage at the infamous Hollywood Palladium in one of his first performances after a well-publicized battle with drugs. Older, wiser and funnier than ever, the venerable comic tells outrageous jokes and a number of moving stories about his personal past -- including one about a life-changing trip to Africa. Pryor's trenchant social commentary touches on an array of subjects, from prison and mobsters to hospitals and cocaine.

A gadget salesman is looking for a special gift for his son and finds one at a store in Chinatown. The shopkeeper is reluctant to sell him the `mogwai' but sells it to him with the warning to never expose him to bright light, water, or to feed him after midnight. All of this happens and the result is a gang of gremlins that decide to tear up the town on Christmas Eve.

Here’s the thing to understand: The things libertarians want - freedom, less govt. interference in markets & in personal choices, non-interventionist foreign policy… there is no money in these things for politicians. There are no big corporations and very few rich people who are willing to pay tons of money to politicians to refrain from intervening in markets, or to keep the troops home, or to let people ingest whatever substances t... The Always-Unverifiable Pandemic -- SO VERY VERY BAD! -- Evaporates into Thin Air
by Dr Naomi Wolf
As if a switch had been flicked, now the cruel moral judgments, the two-tier society, the mandates, the coercions, the nasty looks, the desperate masked children with their laboring breath, the loneliness, the desolate centrally-planned economies — had evaporated and were no more.

The lockdowns were not a terrible idea because Covid-19 is not a serious illness. They were a terrible idea because centralized, coercive decision-making is ALWAYS a terrible idea. We have a whole century of experience to show us this, and now we have this living example right in front of us.
